Convertible Top Technician

Responsibilities
  • Work as a team member to meet the production goals.
  • Organized, responsible to keep work area clean, and to dispose of work area garbage.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions and learn on the job.
  • Work independently, with others, and when to ask for guidance/assistance.
  • Mechanically/detail oriented, and to complete jobs quickly and accurately.
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, strong work ethic, and work well without supervision.
Qualifications
  • Experience with convertible top installations.
  • Experience with all makes and models of cars.
  • Experience with convertible top hydraulics, electric motors, and components repair preferred.
  • Experience with custom automotive interiors preferred.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

Upholstery Trimmer

Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Experience with custom automotive interior upholstery.
  • Experience with recovering and repairing automotive seats including; fitting, installing, and securing material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, or staples for interior automotive seats.
  • Experience with all makes and models of cars.
  • Experience with measuring and cutting new covering materials, using patterns, measurement and cutting instruments, following sketches and design specifications.
  • Experience with building auto interior furniture up with foam padding to form smooth, rounded surfaces.
  • Experience with making, restoring, and/or creating custom automotive interior seats, using hand tools and using knowledge of fabrics and upholstery methods.
  • Experience with reading work orders, and applying knowledge/experience with materials to determine types and amounts of materials required to cover work pieces.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.

Counter Service-Sales Representative

Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of auto parts preferable to service-sell auto interior and auto upholstery products/services.
  • Performing administrative functions to ensure customer needs are met or exceeded.
  • Ensuring delivery of personalized customer service through timely quotations and accurate order processing.
  • Update customer contracts, process work orders, coordinate deliveries, and respond to customer calls for general information on products, services, and current job status.
  • Communicate with customers and manage service-sales transactions.
Qualifications
  • Auto industry knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Goal oriented, self-motivated, and able to meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Build customer and co-worker relationships and contribute to the team atmosphere.
  • Excellent communication, time/priority management, and organizational skills.
  • Enjoyable personality for in-person and phone service-sales interaction.
  • General/basic computer skills required.
